Blessing Through Broken Hearts Grief Workshop supports women by providing a safe place for women to come together to form positive bonds, have compassionate grief support with biblical and professional guidance to help cope with grief trauma and loss. Let’s walk, talk and heal together. Our mission is to encourage support, and comfort women who are in any affliction using the same help that we ourselves have received from God.
My workshops became my own source of healing after I lost my sister to Breast Cancer on May 10th 2023. I went to a wonderful, trained professional that was all in for me, but I couldn’t connect. She listened to me talk but I couldn’t really be as vulnerable as I wanted to because I felt she just wouldn’t get it. I am a Minister, working with women coping with grief and trauma and seeking help. I felt out of place. I wanted permission to hurt, and I didn’t feel I had it so I left and never returned.
God reminded me to go back to why I started Blessing Through Broken Hearts in the first place and I realized I wasn’t alone in this “they don’t get it” feeling. So, I decided to start a workshop for women just like myself. Women in ministry, women supporting others, women who are dealing with their own stuff that needs a safe place to feel supported to be vulnerable, cry, and be free to let the world know I hurt too!
