My Women Support Group supports women by providing a safe place for women to come together to form positive bonds and have compassionate grief support with biblical and professional guidance to help cope with grief trauma and loss. Let’s walk, talk and heal together. Our mission is to encourage support, and comfort women who are in any affliction using the same help that we ourselves have received from God. My Personal Journey Through Grief On May 10, 2023, I experienced a profound loss—my sister passed away after her battle with breast cancer. In the days that followed, I sought support from a trained professional. While she was kind and well-intentioned, I struggled to truly connect. I found myself holding back, unable to be vulnerable in the ways I needed, because deep down, I felt she simply couldn’t understand my pain. As a Minister and someone who has spent years supporting women through grief and trauma, I suddenly found myself on the other side again —grieving, hurting, and searching for a safe place to process my own loss. But in that moment, I didn’t feel like I had permission to hurt. I felt out of place. So, I left. Why I Created This Space Out of my own journey through grief, I felt a deep calling to create what I couldn’t find—a safe, compassionate space for women like me. That’s why I launched my Grief and Trauma Coaching practice. Through coaching sessions, workshops, seminars, empowerment gatherings, and even simple moments like coffee and conversation, I support women who are so often the supporters themselves. This space is for women in ministry, women in leadership, caregivers, professionals—those who pour into others while quietly carrying their own pain. It’s for women who need a moment to breathe, to be vulnerable, and to say without shame: “I’m hurting too.” Here, you don’t have to hold it all together. You’re not alone. This is your place to heal.
