At that moment, I was stunned. That box had been sitting there for who knows how long—overlooked, unnoticed. But somehow, on that day, in that session, with that client, it stood out.
After she left, I sat quietly. I began to pray. “Lord, what do you want me to do with this?” What God revealed to me was profound: So often, we go through life doing everything we can to fill the empty places within us. We exhaust ourselves trying to create peace, maintain strength, and manufacture joy with our own hands. We work hard supporting others, pouring our energy into building something whole, all while secretly struggling with loneliness, anxiety and silent grief. But it’s in those quiet, vulnerable, painful moments—the ones that bring us to our knees—that we finally look up. And just like that box on my shelf, God reminds us: “Without Me… you’re empty inside.” Let this be your reminder today. You don’t have to carry it all on your own If you’re in a place right now where you're tired, worn down, or feeling like nothing you do fills that inner void—I want you to know: You don’t have to navigate grief, trauma, or emotional exhaustion in silence. There is help. There is healing. There is hope. As a Grief & Trauma Coach, I support women like you-- especially those in ministry, caregiving, and leadership-find space to be vulnerable, heard, and spiritually restored. Together, we’ll create space for healing, reflection, and rediscovering peace through faith. You were never meant to do this alone. Let’s walk this journey—together. Wow! What a beautiful outlook on things. “Without you, I am empty inside” It’s amazing how healing others you receive a piece in return to heal yourself. Well said Juanita! Well prospered! Often I believe it is my duty to heal alone because it is me that needs the healing. Its wonders the support you offer doing this journey to be a reminder that you don’t have to do it alone. Others are on this journey too! Thank you!
